15 Minutes of Fame

Jesus; Smile will ya!

Sendoff went well. NECN and Channel 5 both did stories on tonight's news. We met each others significant others and wrapped up some last minute details. Vanishing Act

abracadabra

Now you see us now you don't. Sendoff ceremonies tomorrow. Funny how this group of 4000 soldiers nationwide barely makes a blip locally. 2o here 40 there. Adds up folks. Team morale is high, but this weekend will be tough on soldiers and families. We received our new M-4 rifles today. Fresh out of the box with that "new gun smell". Nothing like cleaning a clean weapon, right boys? The limitations of a blog site are becoming evident. Real pain in the butt adding pictures. Maybe just because it's new to me. Skull Nation
I think it was then Captain Mac who added the skull to our logo back in the late 80's. There have been numerous variations. Many soldiers have come and gone over the years, and many have this logo permanently set into thier skin. I am one of them. I am proud of this unit's heritage and could not be more proud of the current band of brothers facing our most recent challenge. Drive on Skull Nation!

Hello?

I thought this would be a cool way to share our experience overseas. Never Blogged before so bear with me...
